Discover Paris in the 1930s with the Albert-Kahn collections !

From the 5,000 autochromes (first color photos) and 90,000 meters of films, the “Paris” photographic image fund of the Archives de la Planète is the most important collection of films and photographs devoted to the capital during the end of the 1930s.

Until now, kept confidential, it is now open to the public thanks to this incredible exhibition !

It allows us to discover through pictures the evolution of this timeless capital, its transformation into a modern city, a metropolis aiming progress and looking at the future.

You will thus stroll through the Paris of the Belle Epoque and discover the old Paris, its old districts that no longer exist. You will follow the impressive transformation of the city, through its architectural and cultural heritage, and discover the capital during historical events, such as the World War I, or the International Exhibition ! These wonderfully well-preserved photos show us its evolution to become the magnificent capital that we know today.

Don't hesitate any longer, and come visit the Paris of another era !
