Dior Gallery in Paris

During a stay at the Hôtel du Jeu de Paume, Paris can also be discovered through its exceptional cultural venues. Among them, the Galerie Dior is a must-see for lovers of fashion, art, and heritage.

Located at 11 rue François-1er, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from the iconic 30 avenue Montaigne, the Galerie Dior celebrates the history and creativity of the House founded by Christian Dior. Opened in 2022, this immersive exhibition space traces more than 75 years of haute couture through iconic pieces, original sketches, archival photographs, and spectacular scenography.

The current exhibition: “The Dior Collection of Azzedine Alaïa”

The Galerie Dior is currently presenting the exhibition “The Dior Collection of Azzedine Alaïa,” on view until May 17, 2026.

This exceptional exhibition highlights more than a hundred Dior creations from the personal collection of the great couturier Azzedine Alaïa. A passionate and knowledgeable collector, Alaïa has gathered iconic silhouettes by Christian Dior and his successors over the years.

The exhibition allows visitors to discover pieces that are rarely, if ever, shown to the public. Haute couture dresses, construction details, architectural cuts: the exhibition offers a unique insight into the evolution of the Dior style and Azzedine Alaïa's deep admiration for the House.

This presentation is also part of a cultural dialogue with the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation, which preserves the designer's legacy and helps promote this exceptional collection.

An immersion in the history of Parisian haute couture

Beyond the temporary exhibition, the Dior Gallery offers a permanent exhibition that immerses visitors in the world of Parisian haute couture since the legendary “New Look” of 1947.

The scenographically designed rooms tell the story of the House through its successive artistic directors, artistic inspirations, and workshop expertise. The visit is educational, aesthetic, and deeply immersive.

Whether you are passionate about fashion or simply curious to discover an essential part of French cultural heritage, the Dior Gallery offers an elegant and inspiring experience in the heart of Paris.
