A wonderful hotel steeped in history in a superb location on the Île Saint Louis. Staff friendly and helpful. Bedroom and en-suite bathroom stylish, comfortable, clean and quiet. nothing.

Café da manhã muito bom, completo e saudável. Localização perfeita, próxima ao metrô, segura e pode-se ir a pé a diversos locais interessantes de Paris. O Hotel está muito próximo ao Sena, onde a vista é maravilhosa. O banheiro poderia ser um pouco mais moderno (pia, secador de cabelos, chuveiro e Box) e melhor equipado de 'amenities'.

The location is great , the site is nice , the staff is very helpful and welcoming . Lemon the dog is awesome the room , a suit , was so old , the furnitures as well. The room needs a refresh for sure , paint , but also to fix all the tiny details ( missing buttons , lamps not working , curtains falling down ) . it’s a 4 stars by the price and the location , but the suit quality is more 2 stars … if you want fo invest that much of money you can find better options all over Paris

The location is perfect - lovely restaurants and shops on Ile St. Louis and close to many sites. the staff are very friendly and helpful! the rooms are rather small and not luxurious but they are clean and comfortable.

Die Lage & das Bett des Hotels waren sehr gut. Für ein 4 Sterne Haus haben wir weitaus mehr erwartet. Über den defekten Spa-Bereich wurde man nicht im Vorwege informiert. Im Zimmer fielen Lichtschalter ab, beim Betätigen. Nachts lief die Lüftung/Heizung & machte Lärm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ständig leer, wurde zwar nachgefüllt, allerdings war das Personal hiermit leicht überfordert, so dass auch unsere Getränkebestellung untergegangen ist. Das Rührei war portioniert in einem Warmhaltebehälter, mehr als eklig. Wir waren nicht zufrieden und würden nicht noch einmal hier übernachten.

The location was great,near to Notre Dame and the Left Bank.The interior was stunning and our room was comfortable with every amenity.We slept well each night.There were plenty of power points and a great courtesy tray.The room was a short distance from the main vestibule so was quiet.Staff were so helpful and polite Bath was a little on the small side if you were quite tall.

The history and location are fabulous and central. it’s difficult if you can’t climb stairs but there is a lift/elevator just make sure to request upon booking.

J'ai trouvé que cette Junior Suite dans un hôtel **** n'était pas à la hauteur. Chambre fraîche, lumières rez et mezzanine non dissociées, accès escalier pas aisé.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec un récit sur l'histoire de l'hôtel. Une coupe de champagne nous a été gracieusement offerte. La chambre avait un certain cachet. Dommage que les fenêtres donnaient sur des cours intérieures. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait, avec du jus d'orange frais et de succulents croissants et pains au chocolat. Le calme de l'hôtel était appréciable. Le seul petit "point noir" fut la température de la chambre qui avoisinait les 16 degrés.

Besonders gefallen hat uns die Gastfreundlichkeit und das Ambiente des Hotels. Der Kaffee zum Frühstück und das Rührei hätten etwas heißer sein dürfen. Wir hätten uns beim Frühstück ein wenig Tomaten, Gurken und Paprika gewünscht.

Stayed in room 201 and the noise of the elevator was a little bit high.

Gute Lage und Freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer war sehr schlecht isoliert das heisst man hatte die zimmer nachbaren immer gehört beim reden und das so wie sie direkt im zimmer stehen würden.

Emplacement idéal. Hôtel de charme. Les chambres sont cependant décevantes. Un peu «vieux» par rapport à ce que le site projète ou photos trouvées sur internet. Le cœur de l’hôtel, salle du petit déjeuner très charmant. Poutres apparentes. Mais les chambres on t peut-être besoin d’un rafraîchissement. Pas de chauffage à l’arrivée en chambre donc très froid. Le chauffage de la salle de bain ne fonctionne pas. (Chambre 9)

Wyjatkowo uprzejmy i uczynny Pan Bagazowy pochodzenia azjatyckiego - niestety nie znam imienia. Nie podobal mi sie brak wsparcia i profesjonalnej opieki przy wyjaśnieniu podwojonej rezerwacji, która była błędem systemu. Odwołanie trwało bardzo długo i wymagało ode mnie, a nie od personelu wielu telefonów, wyjaśnień i czasu. Przekonywano mniei , ze to wylłącznie mój problem. Niezrozumiałe i nieeleganckie było również żądanie zapłaty za jedną filiżankę kawę z termosu dla znajomej. Zwłaszcza, że tego poranka nawet nie zjadłam przysługujàcego mi śniadania.

The overall building is amazing! it has been carefully renovated preserving the original features. The room was comfortable and warm with all amenities expected from a 4 stars hotel.The room, the location.

The beds were really comfortable. the room was very cozy. the staff were very nice.the only downside was that the spa was out of order. but we still really liked the hotel.

The place was extremly dirty. the shower was filthy and had almost no water. This was a 4 star hotel and asked for 300 a night but was closer to a motel experience of a room that should cost less than 100

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Paris. Calme. Le personnel à la réception est vraiment très agréable et serviable. Nous avons réservé 3 chambres. Une des chambres avait le lavabo bouché et une odeur de renfermé y régnait. Les 2 autres chambres étaient bien. Dommage!

La salle de bain, l’emplacement, propreté, personnel, le chien très gentil. Pas de télé connectée (netflix, amazon prime).

We had a wonderful stay and will stay with you again when we return to Paris. We understand there are challenges with wi-fi in an old building but if it could be improved it would be helpful.

Thanks again to the wonderful staff at the hotel who are always so pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend that all rooms receive a close inspection for cleanliness by the manager. My room (102) needed attention which I brought to the attention of the front desk. The issue was quickly resolved. A few surfaces in the room need some refinishing or paint. They are looking “tired”. Also, at this time the bath towels are being treated with a product that has a very strong odor that is over-powering and unpleasant (fabric softener?). Towels should have no odor or scent. This is my favorite hotel in Paris and I always look forward to a return stay. See you again in 2023!

Room well equipped, but plumbing didn't work too well and the windows leaked, so the overhead heater couldn't cope in the very cold weather. Tea and cofffee tray in room announced with a fanfare, even though most hotels have it, Only two teabags ! and extra 2 euro for each one more ! Very bad p.r. makes you think you are being ripped off. Personal service very good. Not too far from a Metro.

Breakfast is understaffed - couldn't get refills on coffee, croissants ran out - bacon all gone by mid-breakfast service - would have preferred eggs done differently.

Courtyard was very loud with workers early in the morning and party at night. The windows needed to be open because the room was stuffy and hot and the AC did not cool off room. Staff was lovely, building beautiful.

We loved the neighborhood feel of the island. The hotel was beautiful and the service exceptional.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel receptionists went above and beyond for us. Our rooms were spacious, clean and had outlets next to the bed. The hotel is located in a wonderful and safe area for tourists and we could find food, drinks, and walk to places from this location. Monsieur Lemon was a great host!

Happy with service however bathroom amenities such as shower gel were not replaced.

Les poignées grincent dans les chambres, pas acceptable dans un 4 étoiles. Réveil en pleine nuit car les voisins de chambre ont ouvert une porte grinçante... insonorisation faible mais il faut graisser ces poignées!

The location and staff were excellent. My only concern was for the cleanliness of the apartment; there was coffee in the coffee pot along with used grounds and some of the cups were dirty. I felt that more attention to detail could have been placed on the decor in the living space as well. Accueil excellent , emplacement de l’hôtel parfait en plein cœur de paris, proche d’une station de métro, cadre et deco de l’hôtel avec beaucoup de goût et très original.la chambre est grande, mansardée et très jolie, dommage les toilettes ne sont pas du tout au niveau du reste de la chambre, moches et pas accueillantes. Porte cassée de l’intérieur.

Although the room we were in was attractive, it was somewhat disappointing. The bathroom was not well equipped with hooks or bars for towels and bathrobes ( only one hook is not sufficient), and a tile had fallen off the tub surround. The biggest issue was that the separate toilet room was unattractive and very smelly - somewhat like a public toilet. It didn’t have any ventilation with the door closed, and the odor was always present. The other aspect of the hotel were very good. When I return to Paris I will consider this hotel, but not if the toilet situation isn’t addressed. And some extra hooks or bars in the bathroom.

The best stay we’ve ever experienced in Paris! Every single staff person went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The housekeeper found belongings I didn’t know I had left and got them to us. Charming rooms that preserve the amazing history but have all necessary conveniences like AC.

Chambre 09, odeur de renfermé et d’humidité permanente, odeur fétide dans le frigo, lit court et étroit, lavabo bouché mais débouché rapidement (merci). La barrière en haut de l’escalier est mal fixée. Sinon le calme est à souligner, sauf les bruits avec les voisins, car les parois sont aussi minces que du papier. Malheureusement nous ne pensons pas revenir chez vous malgré l’accueil absolument cordial, professionnel de la réception. Cette chambre et le petit déjeuner ne sont pas dignes d’un 4 étoiles. We had a lively stay and hope to return. We wouldn't even consider another hotel on a return visit. The hospitality was perfect and we very much enjoyed our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Chambre réa de chaussée près des petits déjeuner.

L'emplacement, le décor, le confort de la chambre, le calme et le silence la nuit. Le petit déjeûner: le lundi de Pentecôte, nous sommes descendus vers 10h, toutes les tables avaient été occupées et aucune desservie; nous avons desservi une table nous-mêmes et avons découvert qu'il n'y avait plus ni fromage, ni croissant, ni café. Quand nous nous sommes plaints, on nous a servi un double expresso au bar, et nous avons été manger des crêpes (il y a deux crêperies tout près). L'explication? "Jour férié, pas de livraison"...

Rarement été aussi satisfait d’un choix d’hôtel, tout était impeccable, emplacement idéal, incroyable cachet de l’endroit, gentillesse à l’accueil, très belle chambre, même le petit déjeuner, décrié sur tripadvisor, était très convenable, bref, rien à dire d’autre que allez y, nous, on y retournera…. les mauvais commentaires sur TripAdvisor, tellement pas justifiés….

L'ile, l'emplacement géographique. En fait c'est pour cela le choix initial. l'hôtel est très bien pour une belle rénovation.

Le petit déjeuner, la chambre, l'emplacement et le traitement donné à la réception. Mr Thierry est très amable.

La situation centrale de cet hôtel est très pratique (proximité des restaurants, des monuments, ...) , le cadre, mêlant vieilles pierres et parties modernes, est original.
